Line of Duty fans are in for an extra treat after waiting longer to get their fix of the award winning telly cop show.
Actor Martin Compston teased them on his social with an extra episode on offer for the new season which will air in March.
The series was supposed to drop last year but due to Covid restricting filming timing was delayed.

Now Greenock born Martin who plays Anti-Corruption Unit Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott in the BBC crime show has made an announcement on his social media to reward us for waiting that little bit longer.
In a fun video which sees him talking to gaffer Superintendent Ted Hastings, played by Adrian Dunbar, he pleads with him for more time.
Ted says: "Regardless of the personell involved Vella is still the highest enquiry engaged in this force. I'm going to need a hell of a lot more before I can authorise a formal enquiry. I need more. Houl yer whisht."
Martin says: "How about an extra episode gaffer?"

He also wrote: "Listen up, fellas. When the gaffer asks for more, you better deliver. #LineOfDuty returns for Series 6 with an extra episode (7 instead of 6). Coming soon to@BBCOne and @BBCiPlayer
Season six will now boast seven rather than six episodes.
