Martin Compston shreds troll who questions his Scottish citizenship in brilliant clap back

Matin Compston didn't hold back when an online troll questioned his Scottish citizenship.

Line of Duty star Martin had encouraged Scottish voters to take to the polls and said Scotland's future was in their hands.

A troll responded to his appeal tweet and said: "Hi mate, what part of Scotland do you stay now? @martin_compston."

The tweet appeared to be a dig about Martin's home address after the actor spent lockdown in Las Vegas with his wife where they share a home.

Martin was quick to reply saying: "Currently staying in Edinburgh where I’m working for next 4 months but I’ll get back to my place in Greenock on my days off Dan.

He added: "Anything else I can help you with?

"My movements over the next week? My plans for the weekend?"

He then revealed: " It’s my birthday so I’ll be out if you need a heads up."

Martin turns 37 on May 8 and we can't wait to see how he spend his big day here.

Martin had earlier this week replied to another hater who also questioned his right to talk about Scotland's vote and him paying taxes here.
