Martin Compston shows off his new Celtic bar following Hoops' win over Rangers

Celtic -daft actor Martin Compston has showed off his new Hoops inspired home bar, created by his talented wife Tianna.

The Line of Duty start, who now resides in Las Vegas, shared a picture of 'Bar 1888' after Celtic's win over rivals Rangers last night.

The bar, which has an exposed brick wall, is finished off with a neon bar sign and framed Celtic shirts.

The impressive set-up also has a Tennent's tap, an extensive drinks collection and some solid wood bar stools.

Sharing a snap of his jazzy wee set up on his Instagram page, the Greenock-born star wrote: "DIY Queen @Tianna_Flynn finished this on the ideal day. #COYBIG @CelticFC."

Back in 2019, Martin showed off his Tennent's tap.

He was presented with the draft kit as a thanks for his hardcore love and support of the beer brand, which included helping launch their Glasgow visitor's centre.

He tweeted his first picture of the tap, featuring a unique design paying homage to his and US wife Tianna’s love of the T in the Park festival.

He wrote: “Got my @TennentsLager tap hooked up in house bar ya wee beauty! Chuffed to bits with it especially the sleeve design.”

The sleeve design features the slogan, A Taste of Home, and artwork representing his career in hits like Sweet Sixteen and Monarch of the Glen. He also has a seven foot painting of hometown Greenock in the bar area.

Alan McGarrie, Group Brand Director for Tennent’s, said: “Martin had been talking to us about the fact that since moving to Las Vegas he doesn’t have as much access to high-quality Scottish beer.

"We thought it was only fair, as a hardcore Tennent’s fan, that we helped him find a solution. Alongside the tap and neon sign, we’ve also kitted him out with a load of bar essentials to make sure he gets the full experience.

“The bar tap design is also totally unique to him.

He speaks so fondly about the times he and Tianna spent at T in the Park, but also of the home they have made in Las Vegas, which was the inspiration for the centre. Now the bar is installed I can see a few of his fellow expats popping round for a beer.”
