We can imagine there are lots of ways to prepare for a red appearance and swanky award ceremony but we never thought that raving to GBX would be one of them.
Of course, this was how Martin Compston got himself hyped up for the National Television Awards on Thursday night.
The Line of Duty actor filmed himself dancing to GBX anthems while stuck in traffic on his way to the event.
Martin and his wife Tianna looked buzzing as they headed to the awards show, despite the fact they had been stuck in traffic for almost two hours.
Martin revealed the "only way" to get himself pumped for the event after the delays was to stick on his favourite radio show.
Posting on Twitter, he wrote: “Nearly two hours in London traffic to @OfficialNTAs.
“Only one way to wake up before the red carpet @GBXANTHEMS.”
George Bowie himself responded to the Tweet saying "Showing that no amount of fame or success is going to change him. What a true superstar."
BBC drama Line of Duty took home a Special Recognition and Returning Drama award at the ceremony. Martin went up against his co-stars Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar in the Drama Performance category but was beaten by another Scottish star David Tennant.
