Martin Compston left 'beaming' after Line of Duty event sells out in less than one minute

Glasgow favourite Martin Compston took to Twitter to thank fans after a Line of Duty event sold out in under one minute.

The event called An Audience with AC-12, held in in Port Glasgow Town Hall on March 19, will see Martin interviewed live alongside Line of Duty co-stars Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar.

Tickets for the one-off event sold out in less than a minute today after going no sale at 6PM.

The proceeds from all sales will go to Ardgowan Hospice.

Martin took to Twitter with a classic AC-12 line to express his gratitude, writing: "Jesus Mary Joseph and the wee donkey that sold out in less than a minute.

"Absolutely beaming thank you so much for the support and apologies to anyone who missed out.

"We’re gonna look into streaming it for those reaching out.

"Thanks again gonna be some night!"
