Martin Compston fans go wild over Line of Duty star diving in Irish waters

Scottish actor Martin Compston has been enjoying his time away from the camera - by diving into the Irish waters on holiday.

The Line of Duty star has been travelling in Ireland on his time off, visiting County Cork on his way. Martin posted a fun video of himself diving into the sea on his social media account, alongside a video of the picturesque scenery.

On his Instagram, Martin wrote: "The Emerald Isle you never disappoint. Amazing trip down to County Cork.

"Huge thanks to @tonyameli and family for the incredible hospitality and to all the lovely people of the simply magnificent Glandore. We’ll be back for sure!"

Fans flocked to Martin's comments to share their excitement at his visit to the southwest of Ireland. One Instagram user wrote: "Stunning. So happy you’re all having a great time."

Another said: "Sure you can’t get better then Cork. hope you had a warm welcome."

And a third wrote: "Looks like you have had the craic! Delighted you enjoyed it here!"

More comments read: "Been to Ireland a few times and Cork is so beautiful. The Irish are very hospitable, much like the Scots."

While others said: "Inverclyde wi funny accents pal!"

Meanwhile, one wrote: "Welcome .. Can’t beat a good olde swim, freezing."

And finally, one concluded: "Thought you were going to dive 10 metres somersault Martin!"
