Martin Clunes spotted filming Manhunt in Bristol park

Cameras and actors dressed in police clothing have been spotted near one of Bristol's most popular parks today.

Film crews have transformed a building near Castle Park into a London police station as filming for a new ITV crime series continues.

Doc Martin star Martin Clunes was seen among the group this afternoon (December 11) surrounded by dozens of crew members as the shot another scene for 'Manhunt II: The Night Stalker'.

The crime drama will see the former Men Behaving Badly actor reprise his role as DCI Colin Sutton, investigating a real-life serial rapist who targeted elderly people in south-east London for 17 years.

Photographs from the set show a huge crane being used to capture areal views of the park.

Dozens of cameramen and extras could be seen hovering around a sign reading 'Lewisham, Serious Crime Unit'.
