Hibs boss Shaun Maloney insists there's simply no decision to make on Martin Boyle's future until the club's valuation is met.
The Easter Road club have rejected several bids from Saudi Arabian club Al Faisaly, the last at around £2.25million, for the winger they value at £3m.
Boyle had been offered a life-changing salary of up to £1.5m-a-year and was interested in discussing the opportunity.
But Hibs owner Ron Gordon closed the door on the transfer and Boyle is understood to have accepted the decision, despite claims he had been left "livid" at the offer being knocked back.
And Maloney maintains there's no issue with the 28-year-old as he prepares to face Celtic on Monday night.
"I think I'm very aware of the situation," Maloney said. "At the moment, myself, Martin and the club are really clear. There's clarity on that.
"There's obviously been interest. But we have a valuation and Martin is very clear that until that valuation is met, there's no real decision to make.
"Martin's trained extremely well. Today was really, really good - he took on the information that we asked him. So, really positive today.
"At the moment, that's where we're at. We look forward, and Martin looks forward, to the preparation for Monday."
Maloney was asked if he understood Boyle's desire to explore the opportunity in, apparently, the "latter stages" of his career.
But he laughed: "He's 28, so latter stages is a little bit harsh! Look, I understand both sides, the club and the player.
"I understand but both player and myself have spoken a lot over the last few days. We're both really clear, we've both got clarity on it.
"And until there's a situation where we have to make that decision, then it's very much concentrating on training, the next match and if a decision does need to be made, of course that will happen."
