Martin Boyle teases Hibs pal Ryan Porteous as he brands defender 'poor man's Efe'

Martin Boyle is a nightmare on the pitch for defenders and he's clearly one off it too.

This time it is for his own team-mates as he took to social media to wind up Hibs centre back Ryan Porteous on social media.

Porteous happily shared an image of him on Instagram and got plenty of praise in the comments from Hibs supporters, but Boyle decided to have a bit of fun.

He replied to the post with a comment which said: "Poor man's Efe."

That comment has 157 likes on it and a number of fans commented laughing at Boyle's reply to Porteous.

Efe Ambrose is a bit of a cult hero at Easter Road after his spell at the club, and the former Celtic defender is currently with Livingston.

He played 86 times during his time in Edinburgh before making a surprise move to Derby in January 2019, but he never managed an appearance for the Rams.

He was released at the end of that season and was without a club until February 2020 when he signed a deal with Lions.
