Martin Boyle's World Cup injury worries eased as Hibs attacker receives positive scans

MARTIN BOYLE has received a huge boost to his World Cup hopes.

The Hibs winger looks set to be fine to play for Australia at Qatar 2022 following a recent injury scare.

The 29-year-old underwent scans after Saturday's 3-0 win over St Mirren.

And the Daily Record say that it's positive news for the Easter Road talisman.

Concerns were sparked that he could miss the World Cup later this month after Boyle was forced off in the game against the Buddies.

However, it appears the results mean that Boyle will be available for Aussie gaffer Graham Arnold if needed.
