Seven of Hibs' key men are about to enter the final year of their contracts.
Martin Boyle, Daryl Horgan, Lewis Stevenson and Ofir Marciano will all see their deals expire on 31 May, 2021. Paul McGinn, Joe Newell and Adam Jackson will also be out of contract next summer.
Chances are, the Easter Road club will look to deal in some of these key men before they can leave on a free – particularly given how important they are to their team's on-field success.
Despite an injury-interrupted season last campaign, Boyle has become one of the club's prized assets since joining from Dundee five years ago. He was reported to have been attracting interest from English Championship club Huddersfield earlier this year.
Horgan has been an important first team player since joining two seasons ago, while Stevenson is one of the squad's longest serving members and has gone on to achieve legendary status at Easter Road.

Edinburgh Live reported earlier this week how Vykintas Slivka, Steven Whittaker and Adam Bogdan would all be leaving the club this summer after their deals expired.
Slivka made 84 appearances for the club after joining from Italian giants Juventus three years ago while Whittaker's second spell lasted two seasons. Bogdan was also at Hibs for a second time but failed to make an appearance under Jack Ross.
Loanees Greg Docherty, Jason Naismith, Marc McNulty and Stephane Omeonga have also returned to their parent clubs after their loan deals came to an end.
