Martin, Aston Martin headlines new Bond film 'Spectre'

Dec. 04--Forget martinis and femme fatales; the constant running through 50 years of James Bond movies has been Martin, Aston Martin.

The 24th installment of the spy series, called "Spectre," features a 2015 Aston Martin DB10.

"I'm really excited and thrilled to be able to say we have continued the 50-year relationship with Aston Martin which began right at the very beginning of this franchise," said Director Sam Mendes at a cast announcement. "Together we have worked on designing a new car."

The David Brown 10 will most likely get grand touring style from the DB9, but with a Vanquish-performance side. The 2013 Vanquish has a lightweight carbon fiber body wrapped around a 5.9-liter V-12 engine. The DB10 will have spy weapons.

There only will be ten Bond DB10's made, Jalopnik reports, so don't expect to see this one to leap from the silver screen to the highway.

The customized DB10 will be joined by "Skyfall" cast Daniel Craig as 007, Ralph Fiennes as M, and newcomer Christoph Waltz as the bad guy and Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci acting as Bond girl and dame, respectively. As awesome as it is to have 50-year-old Bond dame Bellucci, our money is on Waltz and the DB10 stealing the Spectre.

The film opens November 6, 2015.
