Anthony Martial's move to Manchester United is on after the French Football Federation confirmed he has left the national team to complete negotiations over a permanent switch from Monaco.
The 19-year-old has left France’s training camp for their upcoming international friendlies against Portugal and Serbia to travel to Manchester and put the finishing touches on what is expected to be a £36.3m deal.
The national team have confirmed that head coach, Didier Deschamps, accepted a request from the player himself to travel and complete the move, which will go through before Tuesday’s 6pm deadline providing talks and a medical go as planned.

A statement released by the French Football Federation on Monday morning read: “Anthony Martial has requested permission from Didier Deschamps to travel to England to sign a contract with Manchester United.
“Given the exceptional circumstances, the coach has accepted the request of the player. Anthony Martial left Clairefontaine on Monday at 12pm (CET). He will return on Tuesday morning.”
