Marti Pellow stage times for big Bents Park concert in South Shields

Keep everything crossed some fine weather over the course of the next four weekends as this year's South Tyneside Festival Sunday concerts take over South Shields.

Every year crowds of up to 30,000 people flock to Bents Park for the gigs which have featured the likes of Billy Ocean, Alexandra Burke, Five, Atomic Kitten, Busted and The Vamps over the past few years.

Another varied assortment of acts has been assembled for this year's South Tyneside Festival with the featuring new acts, local acts and music legends.

Speaking of which, someone who falls into the latter category will kick things off on Sunday, July 14.

Get ready to belt out Love is All Around as ex-Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow headlines the first of this year's free concerts.

If you're going, you'll want to be aware of the , and the stage times for the afternoon.

They are as follows:

12noon - Gates open for Priority Plus ticket holders (gate 6)
12.45pm - Gates open for free entry (no tickets required, gate 1 + 7)
1.45pm - The Good Souls
2.50pm - New Rules
3.30pm - Marti Pellow
4.30pm - Finish
