Martha Stewart reveals how she maintains youthful appearance without plastic surgery

Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart insists she has never had plastic surgery.

The 85-year-old lifestyle guru may not have gone under the knife, but she does get fillers to help maintain her youthful look.

She told People: "I go to Dr Dan Belkin in New York City. He is a very superb dermatologist. And I use a little bit of fillers. I go maybe once every four months for touch-ups.

"I have not had any plastic surgery at all. I don’t think I need it."

Martha has ruled out having body enhancements, saying: "I’m not getting boobs done and hips and butts and stuff like that."

Facial exercises and peptides have helped the businesswoman's skin look its best.

She said: "I do facial exercises and have the best facials from Mario Badescu and Georgia Louise. Peptides are very good. I take a few peptides. So that’s what I do. I’m more a maintenance kind of person."

Ultimately, Martha has her mom's genes to thank for her youthful appearance.

She said: "I have good genes. My mom looked great at 95. We eat well. We don’t drink very much. We don’t smoke. We eat healthy food. We exercise daily. I horseback-ride."

Martha likes encouraging women to "feel good" about themselves and their appearances.

In January 2025, the TV personality told People: "It's no good running around feeling unsure of oneself, or not believing that you can get a job done in the right way, so, I constantly try to get people to just step up, step up to the job and feel good, and be proud of the result."

Martha appeared on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2023, at the age of 81.

And she hoped it encouraged women to adopt the same "fearless" approach to life.

She penned on Instagram: "I am so thrilled to be on the cover of the @SI_Swimsuit issue! My motto has always been: “when you’re through changing, you’re through,” so I thought, why not be up for this opportunity of a lifetime? I hope this cover inspires you to challenge yourself to try new things, no matter what stage of life you are in. Changing, evolving, and being fearless - those are all very good things, indeed.
