Martha Stewart designed a 'versatile' outdoor furniture range inspired by the beauty of her 1925 Carriage House

Martha Stewart.

Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart has shaped our interiors (via her World of Martha homeware collection) for over a year – but now she's extending her influence beyond our four walls, right on time for hosting season.

Named the Acadia Collection, Stewart's outdoor furniture range (made in collaboration with POLYWOOD) draws inspiration from her Skylands estate in Maine, a bucolic beauty built in the 1920s. The range signals a return to the traditional forms of Craftsman furniture, defined by strong vertical lines that lend a subtle sense of grandeur.

'Acadia celebrates the traditional Craftsman furniture that fills the rooms of my 1925 Carriage House in Maine,' Stewart comments. 'The collection embodies quiet elegance in solid, well-constructed frames – it's a timeless classic that's versatile, beautiful, and inviting.'

Acadia is the second of POLYWOOD's exclusive collection with Stewart and, like its counterpart, is consciously crafted in the USA with sustainable materials. The pieces also come with a 20-year warranty – something that comes in useful when they're designed to look timeless, after all.

Martha Stewart's Acadia collection – H&G's top picks

It's hard to choose favorites from Acadia, as every piece is designed to work on almost every front porch and in every backyard. However, these six are the ultimate starting points.
