Marshawn Lynch must be protected at all costs.
A few years back, Lynch gave us one of the best mic’d up moments that TV has ever offered (in my totally biased opinion) when cameras caught him in a wholesome exchange with Richard Sherman about giving out turkeys during Thanksgiving. “Trying to restore my community!” Perfection.
The legend is back as the Seattle Kraken enlisted Lynch’s help in promoting their new Winter Classic jersey. There’s just one catch.
The team let him preview the gear but pranked him by throwing his old playing number on it, telling him it was one-of-a-kind and insinuating that it was for promotional purposes only.
In true Marshawn fashion, he hilariously gave them absolute grief over it.
