Marshawn Lynch chastises media for coming to his news conference

Jan. 29--Marshawn Lynch didn't want to be there.

The Seattle Seahawks star running back made that clear, once again, Thursday as he spoke to the media for the final time in Phoenix before Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday.

And he wondered aloud why anyone else would want to be there as well.

"I ain't got nothing for y'all," Lynch said. "I told y'all that, so y'all should know that. But y'all will sit here like you're doing right now and continue to do the same thing.

"I'm here preparing for a game and y'all want to ask me all these questions, which is understandable, I could get down with that. But I told y'all I'm not about to say nothing."

Lynch spent more than two minutes talking about how media members continue to "shove cameras and microphones down my throat" even after he's made it clear he has no intention of cooperating.

It marked a departure from his approach from the previous two days of answering all questions with slight variations of a single response.

Lynch then declared he had fulfilled his required duties, "so now for this next three minutes I'll just be looking at y'all the way y'all looking at me," he said. "Thank you."

He actually did answer two questions -- where to get Beast Mode gear ("BeastModeOnline.com) and who is the best player on the team ("all of them"). Then his smartphone timer went off marking five minutes, and he was gone.
