Mars has launched a new vegan 'Mars Oat' drink and it sounds delicious

With the sunny weather here to stay, Mars has launched a new vegan milkshake that's sure to impress fans of the iconic nougat chocolate bar.

It was only last year that the confectionery giant released dairy-free Galaxy and Bounty drinks - and now shoppers can get their hands on an oat-based Mars milkshake too.

As nothing beats a chocolate milkshake in the summer, the new Mars Oat drink couldn't have arrived at a better time. The brand says it's 'bursting with a rich chocolatey taste' with a hint of caramel.

Made with no added sugar, the sweet drink is also certified by the Vegan Society and can be found at Asda stores across the UK now. You can find your nearest Asda by using its online store finder.

It joins Mars' dairy-free range of Galaxy Oat and Bounty Coconut drinks, which are also on sale at Asda, with an RRP of £1.50 for a 250ml bottle.

And fans of the famous chocolate bar have already been expressing their excitement about the launch on social media.

Commenting on a post by Newfoodsuk on Instagram, one delighted shopper wrote: "Ooo I need these. "

Another wrote: "Was waiting for Mars one! Bounty one was lovely ."

A third tagged their friend and simply said: "yay!"

Meanwhile, M&S has added to their vegan Plant Kitchen range with ice cream and sausages.

The posh supermarket has has everything you could want for the ultimate vegan-friendly BBQ or picnic this summer.
