Mars confirms its popular Celebrations advent calendar has been scrapped for Christmas

There is little cause for celebrations after Mars announced one of its most popular advent calendars won't be making a return this year.

Its much-loved Celebrations Advent calendar has been scrapped, despite proving to be a big hit with fans during recent years, reported Wales Online.

Family favourites such as Galaxy Caramel, Maltesers and Twix were all hidden behind the doors of last year's calendars - as well as some less popular options such as Bounty.

In fact, some fans were left disappointed when they discovered Bounty chocolate behind the first two doors of the Celebrations Advent calendar in 2020.

Thankfully, chocolate lovers have a galaxy of other advent calendars to choose from, and tubs and boxes of the bite size Christmas treats will be on supermarket shelves everywhere.
