'Marry me' - Nottingham Forest fans react as club issue key injury update

Some Nottingham Forest fans have been reacting to an injury update on midfielder Samba Sow issued by the club today.

The Reds' official Twitter account shared a video of the midfielder working on various exercises including squats, leg presses and exercise bike work.

Sow has been out since the 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion on February 15, picking up a knee injury.

Sabri Lamouchi's side have missed Sow, with the Mali international out for the last four matches.

Coincidentally the Reds have won just one of those matches and while remaining in fifth place, they have slipped to ten points off the automatic promotion spots.

The return of Sow will be most welcome for the run-in and fans have expressed a positive reaction to the update on his fitness.

One said: "Marry me."

While another added: "Tank."

A third said: "Lowkey thought Sow was dancing at one point."

While a fourth added: "Let’s hope he’s fit for the re start."

Sow arrived from Dynamo Moscow in the summer, one of Lamouchi's signings as he revamped Forest's squad ready for a push at promotion.

He partners captain Ben Watson in midfield and has made 18 appearances so far this season.
