Married couple give birth to first child after forming 'throuple' with new girlfriend

A three-way couple have become parents after giving birth to a baby girl.

Married couple Lo and Mike Taylor became a throuple after a one-night threesome with their now girlfriend, Jess Woodstock, turned into a deep emotional connection in June 2018.

After Lo and Mike naturally conceived in March last year, the trio finally met their daughter, Aria Lyn, weighing 7lbs 2oz at a home birth in Denver, Colorado, in December.

Now the trio are a well-oiled machine taking it in turns to give their daughter night feeds with Lo's expressed breast milk.

Lo, 31, said: "It's been a blessing having three pairs of hands instead of two.

"Spouses and birthing partners do not get nearly enough credit, both Jess and Mike have been amazing.

"We all take it in turns to sleep in the spare room and give her a feed throughout the night so whoever is on the late shift doesn't disturb the other two."

During the pregnancy, Lo and Jess attempted to sync up their cycles by eating the same foods and doing yoga together, in a bid to stimulate milk production in Jess' breasts so she could also feed Aria.

Although Jess, 31, has not yet been able to wet nurse, the throuple revealed she had experienced pregnancy cravings and mood swings as her body tried to mimic Lo's.

Lo said: "Sharing the journey with Jess has been amazing.

"We have been experiencing some of the same cravings and she has had some of the same changes with her boobs, they got larger and very full.

"We did a lot of work during the pregnancy to sync up our cycles including eating red meat and lots of different seeds and nuts such as chia and flax seeds and cashews and almonds.

"So far I've been producing so much milk that we haven't needed another supply but there are supplements and things that Jess can take to help stimulate her production."

After a smooth pregnancy with no morning sickness, Lo went into labour on December 22 and gave birth at home at 4.45am.

But the trio, who were convinced they were having a boy, were left stunned when the midwife announced they had a healthy baby girl.

Lo said: "Everyone thought that we were having a boy just because of the foods that I'd craved and old wives tales about the way I was carrying and things like that.

"It was such a surprise when the midwife announced it was a girl.

"Jess' reaction was hilarious, her mouth just dropped open and she had her hands on her face.

"All three of us are absolutely smitten with her, we couldn't have wished for a smoother pregnancy and birth."
