Married at First Sight UK fans have expressed their fears that bride Marilyse will end up being disappointed after spotting "red flags" in her marriage to Franky.
Last night's programme showed mother of two Marilyse, 37 and Dubai expat Franky, 47 tying the knot.
However, it didn't go as smoothly as that as Franky delivered an awkward speech at their wedding reception which left fans worried about the new relationship.
Marilyse explained her reasons for going on the show and said: “I would love to go through to the experiment to the very end and still be with the guy.
“That is what I want to happen and what I expect to happen. I will be a bit disappointed if it doesn’t happen, but we’ll have to wait and see.”
Whereas Franky said he wanted to give himself a "challenge" by going on the show.
Franky, a strength and conditioning coach who lived in Dubai for 16 years, gave a very awkward speech which the guests didn't seem to find funny.
He said: "Ladies and gentleman, I will actually enjoy this speech because it's highly likely again that I will get to speak for a whole ten minutes without my wife interrupting me.
"Thank you in advance that on our honeymoon you'll get up every morning and make me breakfast. I like my eggs runny."
Fans took to Twitter as they described Franky as showing 'red flags'.
One fan tweeted: "Franky in #MAFSUK is literally the epitome of a red flag"
A second person said: "Sorry just gotta put it out there……. FRANKY = RED FLAG #MAFSUK" whilst another said: "Can’t work out Franky. Is he serious or does he have one of those weird senses of humour that no one gets? #MAFSUK"
Another tweeted: "Oh my God, someone make Franky’s speech stop. Second hand embarrassment is REAL #MAFSUK"
Also during the show groom Joshua, 26 from West London was waiting for his bride to walk down the aisle.
Joshua, an insurance worker, was paired up with sports journalist Amy, 34, from Cornwall, on the show.
However, Joshua said that if she took too long to arrive then he would 'hide somewhere' because his nerves would get the better of him.
The programme will be shown on four nights a week from Monday to Thursday, on E4 at 9pm and will come to an end after 21 episodes at the end of September.
Eight new couples that have never met each other before will be married and get to know each other on the show whether they get on or not.
