Married At First Sight UK's Thomas takes savage swipe at April after explosive dinner party

Married At First Sight UK star Thomas Hartley has taken a swipe at his co-star April Banbury after last night's explosive dinner party episode.

Thomas accused April of being a ‘liar’ at the show's second dinner party on Tuesday night after she apparently told Chanita he had been ‘s*****g’ her off.

Following the broadcast of the episode on Tuesday evening, Thomas shared a photo on Instagram of a snake wrapped around his neck and captioned it: “I love snakes. I mean, look at my face,” in an apparent swipe at his co-star.

April wasn't in attendance at the dinner party to defend herself as she had skipped the event due to illness, but Thomas sat down with Chanita and said: “So, this is what I've heard, I don't want to say this really.

“April was crying, I went into the bathroom with her to console her, the minute we go in there, she said 'Chanita was a b***h' and that you were feeding information outside of the group.

“But my purpose now is to tell you, and I don't give a f**k what anyone says, I have not said that about you. It was April. I don't care what anyone says, that is my truth!”

Speaking about April, who won Miss Great Britain in 2019, Thomas added to the cameras: “You can stand up and say you want World Peace but at the end of the day, you're still a f**king liar!”

Later, viewers saw Chanita shouting at April's husband George: “Your wife has been s******g" me off!”

This comes after April revealed she is terrified to leave her home after the backlash from her cheating scandal.

She tied the knot with husband George Roberts on the show but shared a kiss with another woman during their honeymoon in Jamaica, resulting in her husband in tears.

April now says she has become the subject of abuse from angered fans on social media as well as cruel comments from trolls.

The newfound reality star has been forced to defend herself, taking to her own social media channels to urge viewers to "be kind" and remember "it’s a TV show".

Speaking to The Sun, April explained: "It's been really hard to deal with, I didn't expect so much hate - it put me in a place where I never thought I'd see myself.

"I like to think I'm a good person; it was really tough to deal with mentally, I didn't want to leave the house, people are mean - some people are really mean - but you know what, it's OK. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

"You just have to remember who you are, and remember that the people that love you know who you are and stay focused, if anyone wants to troll me, I know that I'm loved. Haters going to hate, I feel sorry for them as I guess they are the ones with the real issues."
