Married At First Sight UK's Nikita Jasmine kicked off show for foulmouthed tirade

Married At First Sight UK's Nikita Jasmine has been kicked off show for a foulmouthed tirade at her co-stars.

The 26-year-old Geordie had to be dragged away from the first dinner party after exploding at fellow contestants.

Nikita ranted that they had only signed up to the show for fame as she launched into an expletive fuelled rant.

Bosses said they had 'no choice' but to remove the newlywed from the show after ruling her behaviour had broken the strict code of conduct for participants.

Nikita's antics meant that her husband Ant Poole's journey on the show was also abruptly cut short.

A teaser for the dinner party showdown was previewed at the end of Tuesday night's episode.

Nikita was seen stood up out of her chair and shouting at her co-stars while jabbing her finger.

"I'm leaving the show. I'm going anyways," she cries as member of the TV crew tries to hold her back.

Revealing what went down ahead of tonight's show, a TV insider told the Mail :"Nikita just lost it and screamed at everyone around the table.

"'It was over an argument she started, ranting her co-stars were only doing the show for fame – when most of them felt that's exactly why she had signed up. The situation turned really ugly, which was why security had to get involved.

"Bosses were left with no choice but to remove her from the show."

A spokesperson for E4 said: "The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond.

"During filming, a situation escalated off camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour.

"As a result, she was asked to leave the experiment. All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved."

Following her outburst, Nikita is hauled out the room by producers before being told that she must immediately leave the show, with the dramatic turn of events being aired in tonight's episode.

Nikita is then left to say her goodbyes to her co-stars and her husband.

The star had been partnered up with singleton Ant with the pair heading off on a honeymoon to Mexico after their wedding.

Bride Nikita was honest from the start that she was very unspoken and would not change, leading to awkward moments with the mild-mannered Ant.

Nikita's axe from the show makes them the first couple to bow out of this year's series.

The show follows the format of the successful Australian series, with couples making a “lifelong commitment” to each other at a ceremony that mimicks a wedding, rather than it being a legal marriage.

The ongoing UK series sees eight couples bonding across 21 episodes after tying the knot.

Once the ceremony is over, the couples go on honeymoon and then move in with each other to live as a couple and see if they are suited as a pairing or not.

Relationship expert Melanie Schilling and matchmaker Paul Carrick Brunson, also known as the “love doctor” on Celebs Go Dating, are responsible for matching the singletons, while sex and relationship therapist Charlene Douglas works with them as they navigate their new relationships.

Married At First Sight UK airs Monday to Thursday nights at 9pm on E4. Catch up is available on All 4.
