Married at First Sight UK's Matt and Dan face dilemma in row about living in Leeds

Married at First Sight fans desperately hope Dan and Matt will stay together as neither of them are ready to leave their hometowns.

The “perfect” who are fan favourites on the Channel 4 series, live hundreds of miles away from each other.

Matt, from Leeds, expressed he wasn’t ready to leave Yorkshire for Northern Ireland where Dan lives by the sea in a recent episode.

Dan, 27, was adamant he didn't want to live in Leeds meaning there would need to be some compromise within the relationship.

While their journey on the social experiment has been plain sailing, could this be what causes the marriage to break down?

Fans of the programme have said they “hope Matt and Dan can make it work” with suggestions of how they can make living arrangements that won't see either of them resent each other.

Writing on Twitter, one person said: “I really hope Dan and Matt come to an agreement on where to live. They're perfect together! #MAFSUK.”

Another said: “I really hope Matt and Dan manage to make it work. Why don’t they explore some of the more rural towns and villages in North/West Yorkshire. I am biased but there are some beautiful spots away from the hubbub near Leeds #MAFSUK”

A third added: “Why don't Matt and Dan pick a coastal town roughly halfway between NI and Leeds? That way neither will resent the other and they have an equal distance to visit family etc! #MAFSUK”

A fourth said: “So sad about Matt and Dan. These are two people who should be together but you could see from the start the distance being a decider #MAFSUK #MarriedAtFirstSightuk”
