Married at First Sight UK new series brides and grooms including Dreamboy and former Miss GB

The brides and grooms for the new series of Married at First Sight UK have been confirmed, after last year's series proved to be compelling viewing.

The show started life on Channel 4 a few years ago, although things were slightly more tamer in the early days. UK viewers then got hooked on the Australian version, with all manner of carnage going down after the couples said 'I do.'

But nothing could quite prepare Married at First Sight fans for what happened on the home grown series last year, with County Durham bride Nikita Jasmine being a tornado from the get-go. After declaring she didn't like her groom, Adam, from the minute she clocked him as she walked down the aisle, Nikita was at the centre of a whole host of chaotic moments.

There was an almighty row on their honeymoon, which saw Nikita storm out of their apartment and demand a hotel room of their own. And then, when it looked like things had calmed down, she exited the show in heated circumstances after a dinner party showdown.

Then came the fact that Megan and Jordan cheated on their respective other halves, Alexis and Bob, by sharing a kiss. Viewers are hoping for more of the same this time round, especially now the identities of the singles have been revealed ahead of the new series' expected debut later this month.
