Married At First Sight UK chaos as E4 airs repeat episode amid All4 drama

Married At First Sight UK viewers were left feeling confused tonight as E4 aired a repeat episode.

Thursday night's episode was supposed to be the second batch of vow renewals, but instead fans found themselves watching Wednesday night's episode instead.

Viewers were not impressed and took to Twitter to comment.

"Ummm @E4Tweets we’re all waiting for the final episode of #MAFSUK and you’re playing a repeat?!" one person tweeted.

Another posted: "What's going on at Channel 4 this week? No subtitles and Alexa failed to play the right episode #MAFSUK #MarriedAtFirstSight #MarriedAtFirstSightUK."

A third viewer tweeted: "Is anyone else tuning in to REWATCH last nights episode? Thinking face WTH @E4Tweets #MAFSUK."

It seems once E4 realised their mistake, the channel switched to adverts while they tried to rectify it - but this just angered viewers even more.

"I feel like I’m at a cinema where they put on loads of adverts and trailers for about half an hour before the movie #MAFSUK," one person fumed.

A second added: "Where #MAFSUK or is it just adverts rest of the hour @E4Tweets."

As 10pm approached, viewers were feeling even more frustrated as one posted: "50 minutes of pure disappointment so far #MAFSUK."

E4 apologised to viewers via Twitter, but they didn't confirm when the final episode would be shown.

"We’re aware it’s yesterday’s episode of #MAFSUK playing out this evening and apologise," the channel posted.

Viewers were desperate to see what Morag was going to say during her vow renewals with Luke (Channel 4)

"It’s all down to our ongoing tech issues which we’re working hard on. We’ll update here as soon as we know more and when you’ll be able to see the final episode of MAFS UK."

Strictly star AJ Odudu also took to Twitter to explain why the spin-off show wouldn't be airing tonight either.

She tweeted: "Oi oi! @E4Tweets have had a little (massive) technical glitch so won't be showing tonight's #MAFSUK final. But fear not, there'll be no spoilers on #MAFSAFTERS as that won't be shown either. Both coming soon."

E4 later added: "To confirm, #MAFSUK and Afters won’t be playing tonight. We’re sorry again – we’re working to make it available on All 4 and E4 as soon as possible and we’ll update as soon as we know more."
