Married At First Sight UK expert Charlene Douglas has spoken out about Nikita Jasmine's explosive behaviour on the E4 dating show.
Viewers watched in shock on Wednesday evening as Nikita flew off the handle at the first dinner party, and took aim at Jordan Mundell.
The Geordie was unimpressed with how Jordan had treated his new wife Alexis - and she did not hold back at all when airing her opinion.
However, sex and relationship therapist Charlene has defended Nikita's "angry outburst" and confirmed that there is a different side to the fiery reality star.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Charlene said: "Nikita is one of those people that is really loyal. So, she’s that person that if she feels that somebody isn’t being treated well, she gets really hurt. So hopefully that also came across in the show.

"It is always so easy for us to focus on someone’s angry outburst and, of course, her behaviour was unacceptable, and once she calms down, I’m sure she will be able to reflect on that.
"But I think that she was hurt and when you’re hurt, sometimes you make choices that aren’t the best," Charlene continued.
"I think the thing to remember though, one thing that I sort of fed back to the couples, is it's understandable that people would have various judgements on the individual that comes across as angry and who’s shouting and swearing, of course that’s wrong and its inappropriate and they focus on that.

"But something that isn’t acceptable also is when someone is maybe being passive aggressive and they’re not really saying much or they’re doing the kind of, ‘well you see what I mean? This is what she’s like'."
Charlene added: "That also can fuel someone, particularly when someone’s in a place of feeling really hurt.
"So I think there was a number of things that went on yesterday and on the show," she said, referring to the dramatic dinner party.
"Yes, of course it doesn’t take a psychotherapist to recognise that some of Nikita’s behaviour was unacceptable and I think she can reflect on that and recognise that.
"But also Nikita is also a kind and loving person as well and we’re hopeful that that comes out as well," Charlene added.
Earlier this week it was reported that Nikita had been kicked off of the show following her foulmouthed tirade at her co-stars.

The 26-year-old Geordie had to be dragged away from the first dinner party after exploding at fellow contestants.
Nikita ranted that they had only signed up to the show for fame as she launched into an expletive fuelled rant.
Bosses said they had 'no choice' but to remove the newlywed from the show after ruling her behaviour had broken the strict code of conduct for participants.
Married At First Sight airs Monday - Thursday at 9pm on E4.
