Married At First Sight star inundated with suggestions after she snubs Wales in UK bucket list

A Married At First Sight Australia star shared a bucket list which appears to suggest there is nothing to do in Wales - so everyone is making their own suggestions.

It was posted by Jessika Power to her 353,000 Instagram followers after she moved to the UK.

She captioned it, “Heyyy guys!! As you know I’ve moved to Manchester and as soon as I’m finished isolating I can’t wait to see anything and explore.

“Here’s my bucket list so far with everything you’ve been DMing me to do.

“Also what is a ‘chav’ people keep telling me about?”

It seems she has been duped by British people giving her jokey answers to her serious question of what to do in the UK.

It was then reposted by Twitter user @purplesburner and is captioned “i’m crying ???”

It includes going to Scotland to drink an Iron Bru, and Ireland (despite it not being in the UK) to drink a lager.

But for Wales, it simply said, “Go Wales and _____?”, suggesting there is nothing notable to do in the country.

The Welsh reliably retorted to the dismissal of the country in the replies to the tweet.

One person replied with suggestions of cultural activities to do on a visit to Wales.

They said: “Go Wales and see the most beautiful beaches in the UK.

“Go Wales and eat a Welsh cake.

“Go Wales and eat some laverbread.

“Go Wales and watch rugby.

“Go Wales and listen to a Welsh male voice choir.

“Go Wales and climb Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)

“Need I go on? Lol.”

Another suggested: “Someone needs to tell her to go to Snowdon so she’ll at least be doing one thing that’s actually right.”

While someone else replied: “Got to Wales and ??? is killing me. There are options. Eat a Welsh cake, go up Snowdon, even just stand on the beach in gale force wind and rain is very Welsh.”

Another commented: “Go Wales and have some proper Glamorgan sausages, those things are f****** delicious.”

On the original Instagram post, someone commented, “Visit west Wales, Tenby, beaches, go up Pen-y-Fan, Brecon, Cardiff down south and Zip World up north!”

Others poked fun at Port Talbot, saying, “If she wants to keep with the theme of the bucket list she needs to spend time in Port Talbot,” with another adding, “romantic trip to Port Talbot.”

People were also shocked by the notion of a romantic weekend away in Bradford and the fact the UK based list includes Ireland.
