Married At First Sight's Steph and Jonathan 'HAVE split' and 'can't bear' each other

A Married At First Sight couple have already split and can't bear to be in the same room as each other.

Nurse Stephanie, 28, walked down the aisle with Jonathan, 39, a property manager, in the first episode of the Channel 4 series last week.

However, just days after the wedding ceremony - which happened last year - it's reported they had ended the relationship with her friends calling their coupling "the worst match".

Married At First Sight's Steph sparks divorce fears by ditching her wedding ring on social media when the first episode aired leading to speculation that the marriage hadn't gone the distance, and now the news has been confirmed.

A source told the Sun that they can't even bear to do interviews together making it difficult to promote the show: "Steph and Jonathan were a disastrous match – everyone knew it, even at the wedding.

“It was over within days and she took her ring off almost straight away.

“They can’t bear to be in the same room as each other now, and don’t communicate.

They added: "It’s been a nightmare – her friends and family support her, but knew it wouldn't last."

Steph had been pictured wedding ring-free as early as December, with later snaps taken in January and February also showing her without the band on her left hand.

When the show debuted last week, Steph attended a viewing party with her mates and she was still without her ring - and without her husband.

In a further hint about her marital status, Steph posted a message two weeks ago suggesting she's still looking for her perfect man, describing her ideal mate as "a mix of movie hardman Tom Hardy and Idiot Abroad Karl Pilkington".

Viewers had already predicted that Married At First Sight fans spot clues predicting Steph & Jonathan will divorce when the pair spoke about their lives and why they wanted to marry a stranger.

Steph got emotional as she told how her last serious boyfriend had gone out with his mates and cheated on her, and viewers were adamant it was a huge warning sign.

One tweeted: "Steph is a steaming hot mug of trust issues. This won’t end well. Mark my words #MarriedAtFirstSight."

Another added: "Oh Steph no!!!!!!! This is going to be a disaster #MarriedAtFirstSight"

A third wrote: "Oh dear, Steph is not over the man who broke her heart. That doesn't suggest she's ready to get married #marriedatfirstsight."

Viewers also pointed out that Married At First Sight fans cringe over 'excruciating' date with 'deluded' husband could prove to be a problem - especially if Steph has trust issues.

Dating experts put the couples together using a number of different tests to prove their compatibility and the participants agree to exchange vows with their ideal match.

They don't even get to see what the other looks like until the big day.

The ceremony is legally binding and they jet off on honeymoon before moving in together to see if they can make the marriage work.
