Married at First Sight's Sophie and Adrian say dating life is 'non-existent' since the E4 show

The aim of Married at First Sight is to find a lifelong wife or husband, but often this does not go to plan. A bride and groom who were left single after the show, Sophie Brown and Adrian Sanderson, have revealed that their dating life is now "non-existent".

Talking on their podcast, Divorced! Beheaded! THRIVED!, the pair both said they had struggled dating since Married at First Sight. Adrian said dating life had been "absolutely s**t" while Sophie added: "It is like tumbleweed."

Adrian said: "It's non-existent... people could just have so much information on you now." Sophie said: "It's a pre-judgement and I really hate pre-judgement... I don't like people thinking I am someone that I am not, I hate that. I don't like when people think I am different than I am."

They both went on to add they were so busy with life that for them "if it happens, it happens" when it came to finding a partner. Both Adrian and Sophie did not have a smooth ride during Married at First Sight. Adrian was married to Thomas and the pair had many explosive arguments. Both stormed off multiple times and eventually decided at the last dinner party, before final vows, that they were better off as friends.

Sophie was a late entry to the show and was married to Johnathan, which also did not go well. Johnathan quickly became very unpopular with his fellow brides and grooms and viewers after he made some comments about Sophie's body and her gym routine.

Since ending their relationship Johnathan went on to share a kiss with Amy, a bride from the 2021 series, at the explosive Christmas reunion in 2022. It appears that Johnathan's and Amy's relationship went no further than the kiss.
