Married At First Sight's Morag makes big decision after being trolled and feeling isolated

Former Married at First Sight contestant Morag, who was married to Welsh groom Luke, is now moving back home to Essex after the horrific abuse she received online left her feeling "secluded" and alone.

The move back to Essex comes after she posted an emotional explanation to Instagram, detailing the horrific abuse she has been receiving since the show ended.

During the popular Channel 4 romance show, she and Luke had a very rocky marriage. While Luke fell in love with Morag, she did not feel the same.

Although they choose to remain together at the end of the series, it was revealed at the reunion show that their relationship had turned sour and they were no longer together.

Since then Morag has received huge amounts of hate on social media. She said: "When anyone asks me if I'm okay, I say no. I am not okay and I haven't been okay. But that also is okay. Who would be okay waking up to the most horrific messages and comments? It's hard and debilitating."

She explained that a lot of the abuse she has received is from women including mothers and grandmothers, telling her to kill herself, hoping she gets raped, falls under a car, or gets cancer and dies.

The abuse has become so bad that some days Morag is unable to go to work and now she is moving back to Essex to be with her friends and family.

Posting to her Instagram story she said: "I am moving back to Essex today as I feel a little secluded where I live at the moment and this isn't helping. Need my girls, my gym, and my people. Today is a new day."

Luke has also spoken out against the abuse towards Morag, asking people to "leave her alone" and that he wishes her the best.
