Married At First Sight's Matt says he's 'going to explode' over Morag dinner party jibes

Married At First Sight UK star Matt Jameson was left fuming at last night’s final dinner party.

Tensions threatened to boil over after Matt asked Morag Crichton why her husband Luke Dawson – who she married on the show – wasn’t originally good enough for her.

Matt was left visibly frustrated when the Essex veterinary nurse Morgan dodged the question and planted it firmly on fireman Luke’s helpless lap.

“Why wasn't the old Luke good enough for you?” asked Matt.

Luke, 36, has undergone an incredible makeover since the first episode of thew hit Channel 4 show to make him more sexy under Morag’s strict orders.

And 31-year-old Morag’s wishy-washy response left Matt blasting: “I’m going to explode.”

Turning it back on Luke, Morag says: “Ok, can I just ask a question? before turning to Luke and asking: ‘Was the old Luke good enough for you?’”

A sheepish looking Luke looks down at the table bewildered and contestant Tayah, who is happily married to Adam, chimes in: “Don't flip it on him.”

Matt then snipes: “No, don't do that.”

Morag replies: ”'OK, cool. I'll be honest with you, when I met the old Luke, the Luke 1.0, I felt that Luke was still on a journey.

“You were still on a journey of self-love, knowing who you was...I felt that. I picked up on that. It was hard for me to see you like that and struggling.”

Matt then took a sip of his drink before turning to husband Daniel and muttering under his breath: 'I'm going to explode any second.'

Reflecting on Luke, Morag even admitted on her honeymoon with Matt to Switzerland that she thought her new husband was not “manly enough”.

She famously confessed: “It's infuriating. I don't know what to do. I've got a breaking point. I'm close, if I'm being honest.”

In a previous episode, Morag said: “Last night me and Luke tried having our first serious conversation.

“I tried to tell Luke what turned me on and he got upset. He turned over in the bed and didn't like what I had to say.

“We need to have these hard-hitting conversations and if he is going to turn away and not be interested in what I have to say, we're not going to get anywhere.”

Luke has taken the advice of his partner and experts on the show to remodel himself after coming in for plenty of stick, especially from Morag.

He admitted: 'I took [the expert's] their advice, tried to start talking openly. It came straight back to the image issue we had on day one."
