Married At First Sight's Martha hints at proposal as she talks wedding plans with Michael

Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis hinted she's ready for Michael Brunelli to ask the question.

They have become one of the huge success stories from Married At First Sight.

Their romance has been plastered all over social media and they have been going steady for three years since the show ended.

Already Martha has dropped the bombshell she's ready to walk down the aisle with Michael in a legally binding ceremony this time round.

The cheeky makeup guru pointed out she was waiting to hear the four words (Will you marry me) from her boyfriend herself.

She told OK! Online : "I think there may be a wedding on the cards but I guess that’s a question you’ll have to ask Michael!"

Three years on, Martha no longer calls Michael her "husband" as she did on TV because she said he is her "boyfriend".

She added: "No, he is my boyfriend. Which I think is quite a cute title that I’m not mad about at all."

It was a huge tension over whether the couple moved to Melbourne, where Michael lived, or Bondi, where Martha lived, because they were sure they wouldn't survive the distance.

Loyal Michael proved his commitment to Martha when he packed up his life in Melbourne after the reality series ended.

The couple have been living happily in Bondi, Sydney ever since.

British fans fell in love with Michael and Martha when the 2019 series was played in the UK in the third national lockdown.

It shone the spotlight back on the stars who had their taste for fame in Australia two years ago.

Overnight fame took its toll on Martha following the wrap of the series as she branded the experience "traumatic".

She added: "I think that what the contestants go through is so traumatic and polarising that afterwards they feel they can’t trust anyone."

Cam and Jules were the only other couple on the series who survived the transition from reality TV to real life.

They now have a baby together.

Many couples were torn apart by the end of the series but the likes of Jessika Power and Dan Webb couldn't make their romance work in real life.
