In a recent interview, Martha opened up about the impact fame has had on her life.

The star said the dark side of fame, including the trolls, completely "crushed" her confidence.

She told Closer : “The show – and the fame and the trolls that came with it – crushed any sort of self-esteem I had. You’re criticised, you’re anaylsed at every angle, you’re expected to look perfect.

“People think that I think that I’m this model, but I don’t. I’m a normal girl – I get fat, I get pimples, I sometimes have a double chin – and the trolls will tell me that.”
