Married at First Sight's Marilyse squashes co-star Luke romance rumours as she appeals to help find 'woman of his dreams'

Married At First Sight UK star Marilyse Corrigan has hushed talk of romance between herself and co-star Luke Dawson. Personal trainer Marilyse has made a plea to help find fire figher and children's home manager Luke the 'woman of his dreams' after his relationship with Morag Crichton on the dating show came to an end.

The stars of the bold TV experiment, which sees singletons meeting their potential life partners at the altar and then get to know each other, have remained good friends. And as Marilyse shared a snap of herself and Luke together on her Instagram in May one follower told her: "When are you two going to get it on.. look so good together!" jackiemalone28 said: "You 2 make a gorgeous couple they defo should have put you together xx" And ariel.queen.of.rivers.zoe urged: "Get together."

With help from pals Daniel McKee and Matt Jameson, whose marriage has lasted the distance, Marilyse made a video message saying Luke is ready to find his dream woman. Daniel said in a message shared on Instagram Stories: "He is ready to find love and he's really in a good place to start finding the true one so we need your help."

And Marilyse added: "We need your help so if there's anyone out there that has a little crush on our Lukey Boy we need you to take action now." The trio said they were going to select the ideal partner for Luke and Marilyse from his Instagram DMs and urged: "He is looking for the woman of his dreams so now is your chance."

Marilyse, from Beverley, East Yorkshire, was matched with fellow personal trainer Franky Spencer and they have remained good friends. Participants married total strangers on television, meeting for the very first time on their wedding day, after being matched by experts.

The E4 show resulted in romance for two out of the nine couples who are still together - Daniel and Matt and Adam Aveling and Tayah McCreith who revealed in April they are expecting their first baby together. Screened over 21 episodes last autumn, the UK format was overhauled last year to follow the lockdown hit Australian version with explosive weekly dinner parties and commitment ceremonies during which they aired their dirty laundry.

In November Luke revealed the results of a hair transplant after feeling self-conscious while watching the show back. He shared an update with fans after revealing he was having the procedure for the second time saying his hairline is his 'biggest self conscious.'

He said at the time: "Thank you for the overwhelming support I've received, it makes it easier to continue to be so open about my journey and so many people have flooded me with how its affected either themselves or someone I know, just confirms this was one of the best things I've done for myself."

Ahead of the transplant he explained to fans: "Hi everyone, as many of you are aware I once had a hair transplant. The pics below are my journey from how I once looked before to how its turned out now.

"I have never shared these photos before, but I honestly have such an amazing following I want to share my journey with you." He added: "On #mafsuk2021 #marriedatfirstsightuk, I sometimes watched myself and all I could see was my hair line, it's hard to manage and is my biggest self conscious. I'm excited and nervous so this Friday I go into surgery.

"I'm all about loving yourself for who you are and shouldn't have to make physical changes to be happy with yourself but this one for me is something that will make me feel more confident within myself." On the show Luke said he was falling in love with Morag, who admitted she did not yet fell the same about him and was scared of breaking his heart.
