Married At First Sight's Marilyse 'happy' with Matt Murray as she jets off

The concept of E4 dating show Married At First Sight isn't complicated but the relationships and couplings that follow certainly are complex. And the link-ups aren't just between the contestants lined up in one series. Marilyse Corrigan, who starred in a previous series of the show has been linked with this year's contestant, Matt Murray.

According to a report in Hull Live, the mum-of-two, who hails from Beverley, posted a picture on social media of her "looking cosy" with Matt Murray. The website said the pair had "jetted off to sunny Turkey together for a holiday" and posted a picture of themselves having a late-night cocktail at a bar.

The post included just one word, the picture has the word 'Happppy' all in caps over the image. Marilyse had already posted a picture to Instagram that was captioned simply 'Holiday time', to which someone asked: "Have you gone with Matt?" with another follower saying: "Go on put it out with a pic you and matt on holiday to shut everyone up problem sorted".

Matt, who terms himself a barber and aspiring tattooist, was one of the breakout contestants on the recent series of Married At First Sight UK. During the show, he became embroiled in controversy as he dumped wife Gemma and recoupled with Whitney. But that relationship didn't last due to the distance between where the two live, Matt later said after the show had ended.

Now Matt and Marilyse, who was a star of a previous series of the E4 dating show, appear to have become close. Hull Live says that Matt Murray then shared the image and story post from Marilyse's social media onto his own Instagram story.

Since announcing that he and Whitney have gone their separate ways, Matt had been spotted with Marilyse, who featured in the 2021 series with Franky Spence.
