Married At First Sight's Luke warns trolls to be kind to ex-wife Morag as he says he wishes her happiness

Married at First Sight's Luke has hit out against social media trolls targeting his ex-wife with a scathing post on Instagram.

The Welsh groom told his 176k followers that he will "never condone" abuse against Morag following their decision to split after the E4 show.

Before the show, the 37-year-old from Cardiff was described as the "whole package" and worked as a care home manager and a trained firefighter.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday evening, Luke said: “Let me make this very clear. I will NEVER condone any abuse, threats or any vile comments made to Morag or any of my fellow cast.

“Please leave her alone, let her move on as I hand on heart wish her and her family happiness.

“Please support her and leave her be please!”

This comes after Morag spoke out about receiving abuse online after appearing on E4’s Married At First Sight.

Speaking to her 99k Instagram followers, Morag wrote: “Who would be okay waking up to the most horrific messages and comments. It’s hard and debilitating.

“The hardest thing is YOU DONT KNOW ME! You think you do but you don’t. People have a lot to answer for. I don’t have to to justify who I am to you. Because I know who I am and so people that know me.

I’m not perfect. I’ve never claimed to be. And I’m not looking for sympathy. But I’m still human.”

On the show, Luke said he was falling in love with Morag who admitted she did not yet feel the same about him and was scared of breaking his heart.

Luke and Morag revealed they were no longer continuing their relationship at the end-of-show reunion.

Since the show, Luke has remained active on social media and says that he is still looking for love.
