Married At First Sight UK star Joshua Christie had no idea about his bride Amy Christophers' former career as a Page 3 model.
Amy 34, allegedly starred in low-budget X-rated movies before appearing on the popular E4 show and marrying 26-year-old Josh.
She reportedly used the name 'Brandy Brewer' and was often seen in group action scenes with other adult movie performers
One mock-horror film, Serial Kaller, shot when Amy was 23, showed her playing a porn star. Another, still available, is Brandy Brewer & Cara Brett in Hot Action.
A source told The Sun: "Amy appeared in a one off threesome video - they chose Cara Brett and Brandy as they were good friends. They had a laugh whilst filming it and didn’t remotely take it seriously.
"It was a video for the paid members from the ‘Babe’ TV channel and she never thought it would be an issue. It was basically a soft ‘girl girl’ shoot but with some talking.
“When she was younger Amy didn’t always think things through and was a bit naive. It has been something she has since always regretted.
“She didn’t have good advisors around her and was pressured into making the video," the source continued.
"Amy has always been game for a laugh, and has a great sense of adventure so it’s no wonder she’s ended up marrying a stranger on TV. That’s just who she is."
When contacted by The Mirror, a representative for Amy said: "Amy was a glamour model gracing covers and pages of the top lad mags and page 3, along side that she also did daytime shifts on the babe channels - never at any point was she classed as a porn star."
Married At First Sight UK viewers have seen Amy and Josh experience their fair share of ups and downs over the past few weeks after meeting each other for the first time on their wedding day.
Most recently, Josh struggled to deal with Amy's "mood swings" and was grilled by two of her best friends during their homestay in London.
