Adam will brutally confesses that wife Tayah is "missing him more than he's missing her" ahead of their vow renewal on Married At First Sight tonight.
Tayah and Adam have been the most consistent couple in the E4 series, professing their love for one another just weeks after they first met.
The pair have even spoke about having babies soon and are already "expecting" a puppy.
Yet, throughout, other couples in the process have warned them that they could be moving too fast.
And, after being separated, doubts appear to have been seeping into Adam's mind as he admits that he's "enjoying a little bit of time to himself".
The 26-year-old says this evening: "Being apart from Tayah is strange having spent so much time with her in the past month. I think Tayah is probably missing me, probably a bit more than I'm missing her.
"I am enjoying a bit of time to myself. I've been single for so long, I've been living by myself for so long, you do start to enjoy your own company and just enjoy doing things you want to do.
"Throughout the experiment, a lot of people have been telling us to slow down. I get where they're coming from.
"It is very weird to go from years and years and years of not really giving two thoughts about relationships and then jump straight in at the deep end. It's a bit crazy that I'm doing this after such a short period of time."
Adam admits he has a "lot to think about" ahead of their vow renewals.
He continues: "There's something that I want to say to Tayah that I'm absolutely terrified about. I just don't know what the right time is."
As the camera pans over his shoulder, he writes: "Tayah... Where to begin. I came into this experiment having found love in my life. But I..."
Another clip from this evening's episode sees Tayah worry about the ceremony, saying that she "misses him so much" and that returning to her old life has resulted in her insecurities bubble up again.
She said: "In my head, I can't help thinking, 'What if my feelings change?' Even though in my heart I know that Adam's not like that."
