On Friday's final commitment ceremony we had a shock ending to the series when we saw that the couple made the decision to to stay together.

The pair - who have endured a turbulent relationship during the series - had to decide whether to renew their wedding vows or walk away completely.

The couple has moved at different speeds, with Luke falling in love with Morag, while she admitted she did not yet feel the same about him and was scared of breaking his heart.

The couple had an awkward greeting in tonight's reunion (Channel 4)

It looked certain that the 36-year-old fireman from Cardiff was going to be dumped, but his wife finally decided to commit to him, and told him: "I want you in my past, present and future."

But this evening, everything had changed when Morag reveled that Luke has never rang her since they left the experiment.

She said: "I felt like we ended on a high, I genuinely felt like we were in the best place that we could of been in at the time, obviously there were highs and lows. the position we were in, I felt like I owed it to us to give it a go. However, from the moment we left the experiment Luke hasn't phone me once. Every day I don't hear from him I get angrier and angrier."

Luke was asked by the experts what his take on what Morag said, he replied: " I still felt like she wasn't giving and I said look I'm not going to put any more pressure you at all so we agreed that I would give her space. I didn't ring her but every morning I made sure I messaged her and every night I did and in-between.

Luke spoke directly to Morag and said: "We spoke on one day and you basically turned around and you categorically told me you have never seen us in a relationship, and it was like well what have I been fighting for? I asked her what does the TV final commitment mean to you and she said it's a TV show."

Morag got defensive back and yelled at Luke "I never said that" and he replied "Yes you did"

The couple fought back and forth about past issues and commitments.

One of the experts asked the couple if they truly want out of this

Luke replied, speaking to Morag:" I wasn't the guy you wanted and it was a game to you the whole time."

In which Morag quickly responded saying:"Do you think I would of been through all of that? I was honest with you from start to finish." Luke replied saying that was a lie.

Morag's friends in the show said that she truly had feelings for Luke throughout the process.

Morag asked Luke if he really loved her and meant what he had said in previously ceremony and he replied saying "no"

The couple have now decided to end their relationship completely and take the lessons they learnt into future relationships.
