Married at First Sight is looking for applicants – how to apply

Married at First Sight is looking for contestants for it's next series.

The E4 series sees strangers “get married” having never met each other before saying “I do”.

It's a big TV talking point at the moment, reports Teesside Live, because there have been some memorable moments from the current series.

From Nikita who got thrown off the show to a couple who dropped the 'L' bomb after just a few days, it has all been kicking off in both good and bad ways.

Oh, and let's not forget the new bride who cheated on her new husband with another newly-wed.

But would you sign up for the show?

Well if the answer is yes, now's your chance.

Channel 4 has issued a social media plea for applicants.

Sharing a call-out on social media, it said: "Married At First Sight UK Is Calling All Singles...

"Are you ready to find The One?"

To sign up, you have to be over 18, and feel ready for marriage.

You'll also have to tell producers a little about yourself, your ideal first date, how long you've been single, and share a video message.

All being well, the series is set to film in spring 2022, so you have to be free then, and must not have any current TV connections.

The latest UK series sees eight couples bonding across 21 episodes after tying the knot.

Once the ceremony is over, the couples go on their honeymoon and then move in with each other to live as a couple and see if they are suited as a pairing or not.

Relationship expert Melanie Schilling and matchmaker Paul Carrick Brunson, also known as the “love doctor” on Celebs Go Dating, are responsible for matching the singletons, while sex and relationship therapist Charlene Douglas works with them as they navigate their new relationships.

You can apply via shortaudition.com/mafsuk2, or emailing marriedatfirstsight@cplproductions.co.uk.
