Viewers were watching Married At First Sight through their fingers this evening as the cringe factor ramped up a notch.
Nurse Steph and property manager Jonathan wed during last week's episode and tonight it was their honeymoon.
But it was clear from the moment that they stepped off the plane to their destination in Seville that Steph wasn't attracted to her new husband.
Heartbreakingly for Jonathan, he didn't seem to have a clue and was convinced everything was going along swimmingly.
Even when, during a particularly awkward date, he was chastised for making faces in his food, Jonathan insisted he thought it was it was going well.
Viewers flocked to Twitter to comment on the incredibly awkward date.
