Married at First Sight Australia: Which couples are still together?

Married at First Sight Australia is currently airing in the UK on E4 and All4 but the series and reunion have finished airing in Australia meaning we can find out who is still together. So, final warning, if you don't want to spoil the series then do not read on.

Marrying a stranger is always a risk and, as Married at First Sight shows, sometimes it doesn't always work out. But sometimes you can find that spark and end up marrying the love of your life.

From getting to know each other to meeting the families to finding chemistry the 12 couples on Married at First Sight Australia gave the experiment a good go. But who is still together? Find out below.

Evelyn and Rupert - split

After a very, very awkward wedding where a flustered Rupert did not speak to Evelyn and fumbled while finding the rings the pair struggled to make their marriage work. At their final vows Rupert and Evelyn decided not to continue with their marriage and went their separate ways.

Tayla and Hugo - split

Tayla was a very demanding bride (Channel 4)

Demanding bride Tayla made it very clear very quickly that she had high expectations for her future husband. After making Hugo sleep on a bay window and refusing to let him in the bed the marriage did not get off to a good start.

During a dinner party Claire informed Hugo his wife had left the experiment and returned to Tasmania. But in a sudden end twist Tayla entered to party ready to forgive Hugo. However he revealed couldn't continue anymore.

"Your gonna be awesome when you find someone you connect with. We both know that's not me," he said. "Do we even need to go to the commitment ceremony?" Tayla was visibly shocked by his confession but agreed that the dinner party was their final night on Married at First Sight.

Lyndall and Cameron - split

Viewers had high hopes for Lyndall and Cameron (Channel 4)

Many viewers had high hopes for Lyndall and Cameron after they got off to a great start at their wedding. However at final vows Cameron brutally said he wasn't ready for a relationship and Lyndall gave a very empowering speech about her future before the pair went their separate ways.

Bronte and Harrison - split

Bronte and Harrison got off to a rocky start (Channel 4)

Another relationship that started to go south quite soon after the wedding was Bronte and Harrison when Bronte's friend revealed that Harrison had a girl waiting for him after the experiment. Ultimately it was homestay that caused the end of their marriage as Bronte told Harrison: "I'm done with you... I honestly never want to see you again."

Sandy and Dan - split

Sandy took a big risk entering the experiment (Channel 4)

Sandy took a big risk entering the experiment as her family did not approve of her decision. While she and Dan got off to a good start another bride overheard Dan saying he "was too good for this experiment" and too good for Sandy and the pair went their separate ways.

Claire and Jesse -split

Jesse and Claire had a very rocky ride (Channel 4)

These two had a real ride from getting along well at the wedding to a dramatic honeymoon where Claire stormed out and then Claire cheated on Jesse with fellow groom Adam. Ultimately Jesse could not get over Claire cheating and although they are not still together the pair remain close friends.

Janelle and Adam - split

Janelle and Adam had a dramatic marriage (Channel 4)

Janelle was looking for a groom to commit to her and although Adam promised that he would his old cheating habits resurfaced when he cheated on Janelle with Claire. Janelle was heartbroken by the betrayal and stormed out of the commitment ceremony without saying goodbye to Adam.

Ollie and Tahnee - together

Tahnee and Ollie had a smooth ride in the experiment (Channel 4)

The youngest couple in the series, Ollie and Tahnee, have made their marriage work. They had a smooth ride on the show with no drama, secrets, or affairs and are still very much in love.

Caitlin and Shannon - split

Caitlin and Shannon did not last long in the process (Channel 4)

Although they got off to a great start Shannon very quickly admitted that he was still in love with his ex and Caitlin left the experiment.

Duncan and Alyssa - split

Sadly it was Alyssa's insecurities which contributed to the end of her marriage with Duncan. The couple decided to go their separate ways.

Melinda and Layton - together

Although Melinda took a while to warm up to Layton the pair built on their marriage and their communication and decided to remain together.

Melissa and Josh - split

Possibly one of the most awkward splits of the series was Melissa and Josh. Melissa made it very clear that sex was a priority, leaving Josh feeling like a "sex object" and he left the experiment.
