Married at First Sight Australia 'reunion' as familiar faces return on feedback week

Feedback week continued on Married at First Sight Australia on Wednesday night's episode, as the chaos from partner-swapping continued. The couples headed back to their own apartments and we saw some familiar faces return for boys and girls' night.

Whilst the opportunity to exchange wives and husbands in living quarters proved helpful for some couples, others were left picking up the pieces from some awkward swaps.

Controversial groom Harrison and his beauty educator wife Bronte were set for swapping with high-flying business owners Melinda and Layton. Layton refused to move back in following Bronte giving explosive advice.

Layton felt "unsupported" by his wife when he expressed his concerns about the partner-swapping and didn't want to do it when Melinda pressured him into getting on with the task before he stormed out. The couple didn't see each other for three days.

Bronte told Layton their situation as a "red flag," adding: "No I don't think it's wrong to question Mel's morals at all, she kinda gaslit you and made you feel like your emotions were invalid. I feel like if you want to progress it would be hard work."

But it was the reunion of those who have left the experiment that had everyone talking, with the girls not holding back on their thoughts.

Sandy took aim at Bronte over her ongoing relationship with Harrison, which has previously been under intense scrutiny from her fellow brides. The group believed she was being "emotionally manipulated" by her husband but despite the amounting concern for her welfare, she chose to ignore the "red flags" in her marriage.

The dental hygienist served up some hard truths and said she "doesn't believe" that Bronte and Harrison have genuine feelings for each other. Bronte then left the table unannounced as the girls continued catching up.

"The girls don't like him they never have, so me defending him is wrong to the girls it's the biggest slap in the face from Sandy," Bronte said.

Meanwhile, over at the groom's night, Harrison was also getting grilled by familiar face Adam as tensions became high at the catch-up.

"You're gonna knock your wine over boy," Adam said as he stood up for his cheating scandal in the past, with Harrison becoming notably rattled over Adam's previous infidelity with another bride whilst he was on the show.

"The thing is I think it's time for you to start owning s*** enough said on that. You threw Dan under the bus you weren't man enough to admit you got a girl's number."

When confronted on-camera by producers about what he thought Adam was alluding to by 'owning his s***' Harrison responded by asking the producer to move on from the topic as it's "not worth his time."

Married At First Sight Australia airs Monday - Thursday on E4 at 7.30pm.
