Married at First Sight Australia: Explosive argument leads to bride Claire exiting show early

Arguments are expected in a new relationship but groom Jesse took it too far on Married at First Sight Australia when he mocked his bride Claire in an argument. This resulted in Claire leaving the dinner and then packing her bags and leaving the honeymoon early.

Claire and Jesse had been struggling to get along after Jesse told Claire she was too loud and tried to shush her. Although they shared a close moment, when Jesse admitted sometimes he can become needy, the relationship quickly turned sour when Jesse told Claire he found her comments annoying and then mocked her.

He said her most annoying trait was Claire's "random comments on everything" and proceeded to give her an example and mock her. Claire ended leaving the table in tears, she said: "You are not my person, I've decided that."

Talking to the camera while crying, Claire said: "That really hurt my feelings, I think that he is not a nice person to do that. I don't want to stay in this room with him and I want to go home".

Claire then packed her bags and suitcases and left the honeymoon early. Jesse meanwhile did not understand why Claire was upset and believed he had not done anything wrong. The voiceover did not specify whether the bride had left for good, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Elsewhere in the episode while on the honeymoon Bronte and Harrison had sex for the first time but their relationship quickly turned sour. After sleeping together it became clear that Bronte and Harrison wanted different things for the relationship with Bronte wanting an emotional connection and Harrison wanting more passion.

This lead to the couple waking up in a bad mood with each other and things only got worse when Harrison refused to talk about the night before and said he wanted "time apart". At dinner, Harrison said he did not feel sexually attracted to Bronte, which Bronte struggled to believe as she became emotional.

The dinner ended with Bronte walking away, leaving Harrison at the table, after he said he didn't want dessert and also wanted to leave.

MAFS Australia continues next Monday, March 13, at 7.30pm on E4.
