After Australia ended day one of the second Ashes Test on 221-2, England were in desperate need of early wickets on day two.
Marnus Labuschagne, who resumed on 95 not out, brought up his hundred with an edge past second slip.
England had already given him two lives on day one, with Jos Buttler shelling two simple chances, and Labuschagne was at the centre of even more drama on day two.
Shortly after reaching his century, Ollie Robinson thought he had dismissed him with his first ball of the day, inducing an edge which was pouched by Buttler.
However, Labuschagne was given his third reprieve of the Test, with Robinson found to have overstepped.
The faces of the player's involved told the story, with Labuschagne sporting a huge grin once he saw the replay and England captain Joe Root looking livid.
Speaking on Channel 7, former England all-rounder Ian Botham was incredibly critical of Robinson for overstepping, calling it "ridiculous".
"It's poor, poor bowling," he said. "You do not have to push the line like this, it's ridiculous. You should be half and half at most.
"The problem is these guys go and bowl in the nets from 16, 17 yards and when it comes out here, they get it wrong.
"This is not the first time in this Test series and if they keep on pushing the line it won't be the last."
However, Robinson did not let his head drop after the incident and trapped Labuschagne LBW in his next over with a nip-backer.

Labuschagne did review the decision, but it was a plumb LBW decision and he was sent on his way for 103.
Speaking on BBC Test Match Special, former England bowler Steven Finn said: "This is the second time Labuschagne has walked to the pavilion.
"Having been slightly wasteful, it felt a bit ominous for England with the no-ball but a glimmer of hope."
