Marmite Peanut Butter is coming to UK supermarkets

A new spread is coming, and it answers the age-old question: should we ever combine two things we love?

In this case, yes we should as Marmite has revealed it is launching Marmite Peanut Butter this month, which will be available on Ocado.com from March 25 and in supermarkets from April 7.

The combination of crunchy peanut butter with Marmite is the first permanent product innovation for Marmite since the brand was established in 1902.

The company says the new spread was developed following ‘overwhelming demand’.

Camilla Williamson, Brand Manager at Marmite, said in a statement: “The British public asked, and we listened. We’re delighted to bring the nation exactly what they’ve been craving with the creation of Marmite Peanut Butter.”

“It’s the most exciting product launch since the conception of the brand in 1902 and we’re confident that the nation is going to love it.”

The 225 gram jars will cost £2.50 and will be available at Sainsbury’s from April 7 before rolling out to all leading nationwide retailers.
