Marks & Spencer shoppers rave over new glitter globe gin for summer

Marks & Spencer has launched a brand new version of its famous sell-out snow globe gin especially for the summer months.

The high-street store sees customers rush to shops at Christmas time to get their hands on the seasonal clementine gin liqueur snow globe with many failing due to the high demand.

And now, as the nights get warmer and longer and more of us spend time outdoors, M&S has announced the release of another gin liqueur glitter globe – this time called cherry blossom.

Inspired by the beautiful springtime cherry blossom, the delicious new flavour boasts delicate floral cherry notes with a hint of peach and is set to be the perfect summer tipple.

It glitters with 23-carat edible gold leaf as well as an eye-catchingly beautiful 'animated' label of blossom falling.

M&S shared the the new drink on its social media platforms along with a suggestion of serving it alongside their limited edition prosecco.

The post read: "Have you tried this season’s must-sip tipple? Our glitter globe cherry blossom gin liqueur – heavenly served alongside our limited edition Conte Priuli summer Prosecco."

Customers were quick to react, dubbing the combo the perfect summer garden drink.

"Oh my god this looks amazing!!!!!" wrote one, while another added: "This would be lovely for a sunny afternoon in the garden!"

The cherry blossom gin liqueur glitter globe (70cl, 20% ABV) is available now and is priced at £17 while the Conte Priuli summer prosecco limited edition (75cl) costs £10.
